This is gonna be a short post, but it’s a good one!
Today I’m over at The Book Lovers Blog sharing three of my all time favorite contemporary romance novels.
What are you waiting for? Head over to The Book Lovers Blog to check out my post!
As you may or may not know, I’m trying to get 500 followers over on the old Facebook page. If you like contemporary romance novels with angst, drama, passion and a little humor thrown in, please come by my page! It’s your one stop shop for all of the latest news on my novel, In Pursuit.
Today I have something special for you. A little while ago I showed you how Harris describes his Eddie. This time around I want you to see how Eddie sees her man.
Before we get to that – want more information? You can always email me, I love notes!
The grim Thor-with-a-buzz-cut-lookalike doesn’t respond, just passes stern glares between Claire and me. Tension vibrates between the three of us, a gnawing glacier of anxiety growing inside nearly makes me shiver.
When my Facebook page hits 500 likes I’ll have my first giveaway. Will you help me get there?
In the meantime, I’ve got a Tidbit Thursday for you (aka a short teaser from my novel contemporary romance novel In Pursuit). Unedited and subject to change, of course!
“Let me, please.” Harris drops to one knee before me, picking up one foot in his large, calloused hand. How does such a pretty boy have callouses? I wonder before I fully grasp that he is on his knees before me.
With help from new and old fantastic friends, I met my goal of 200 Facebook likes. So what’s all the fuss with 200 likes? It means it’s time for my dear readers to meet the incorrigible Claire grant.
Now, let’s welcome Ms. Claire, a main character from my contemporary romance novel In Pursuit.
Name: Claire Grant
Occupation: Attorney when she feels like it
Role: Younger sister of our hero Harris Grant
Look Inspired By: Candice Swanepoel
Relationships Status: In the summer she’s single because the weather is warm, in the winter she finds a boyfriend to occupy the cold nights
Bio: If frustrating her brother was a sport, Claire would have a gold medal. To Eddie, it seems like the younger Grant has no greater joy than infuriating Harris. Vivacious, flirtatious and sometimes devious, Claire’s mood changes rapidly making it hard to pinpoint what’s behind her brilliant smile.
What can I say? A girl’s gotta have goals and I have mine – reach 200 likes on my Facebook page. Once I get there (and I know I will!), I plan on sharing the dirty details of a character you will surely love to hate – Claire Grant.
Until then I’ve got a special treat for you, dear readers, a little tidbit from my new contemporary romance novel In Pursuit.
Exquisite, enchanting, edible…
When I make a promise, I always do my best to keep it. So tonight when I reached 100 Facebook likes (!!) it was time to introduce my sweet, lovely followers to my Harris.
As always, if you have questions or just want to chat – shoot me an email: email@example.com
Without further ado, meet the hero of my romance novel In Pursuit.
Name: Harris Grant
Occupation: Attorney, patron of the arts
Role: Our hero
Inspired by: Chris Hemsworth
Relationship status: Long time bachelor, although he’s never had a hard time finding female friends to spend time with
Bio: Dominant and driven, Harris will stop at nothing to be successful. Older brother to Claire Grant, he demonstrates an overbearing tendency to protect her and those he cares about. Until he meets our Eddie, Harris is too focused on his work to find the right woman. Fortunately for Harris, Eddie falls into his lap. Unfortunately for Harris, not literally.
It’s a dreary day here, so I’m in need of a little pick me up. I think I’ll share a teaser from my novel, In Pursuit. This is unedited and subject to change.
Remember – when my Facebook page reaches 100 likes, you’ll get to meet Mr. Harris Grant
“Don’t scare the little mouse, Harry.” Claire appears at his side smiling coyly. Her tone drips with insincerity.
“Eddie. My new roommate.” Her expressive grey eyes show disdain. Not sure if her emotions are targeted at me or her older brother, so I keep quiet. “Sarah Mendel sent her my way and she is just about the sweetest little mouse I’ve ever met.”
There’s that pet name again. It’s hard to say which way the connotation swings – positive or negative. By the smug expression on her face, I struggle to think Claire’s not condescending to me.

Hello dear readers (is anyone out there?)!
Who’s ready to meet Harris Grant? He’s dying to get his own introduction on my Facebook page– but he needs your help.
He’s not able to visit until I have 100 likes.
As soon as we get there, you’ll meet the brooding Mr. Grant! So please visit the official Olivia Luck Facebook page and follow now so you can get to know Harris.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Olivia Luck author of In Pursuit. What’s In Pursuit you ask? Well, stick around because this is one of the best places to find out (I’m also on Facebook and Twitter, and I’d love to hear from you).
So in this inaugural post, I’d like to introduce romance readers, bloggers, authors and everyone in this lovely community to meet my heroine.
Name: Eddie Neff
Occupation: Blogger, interior decorator
Role: Our heroine
Inspired by: Rachel Bilson
Relationship status: Single, burned from relationships past
Bio: Child of a widowed father, Eddie spent the bulk of her life carrying the weight of grief. When the opportunity arises to start fresh in Chicago, she hastily accepts and uproots her life. Little does she know, a flourishing career, new friendships and a life changing love await her.
